Do it, it’s amazing
I have been doing the odd cold plunge here and there at hotels, spa retreats and on holiday and it’s just so addictive I decided to treat myself to a plunge at home. Opted for the Pod PRO for the extra room, the overall look in the back garden and the quality of product and on all three counts it’s hit the mark. Easy to get set up with everything you need in the box, whether adding a chiller or starting as I did without. The lid keeps out the not so welcome stuff as well as helping keep the temp ready for your daily plunge. Quick delivery, the POD is really good quality and you really won’t regret the little extra for the extra room, look and feel. Great Products, wish i invested sooner!!!
Quick delivery (1 working day!) and a very easy to follow set up videos for the Chiller and Pod Pro. The Pod itself is deep and can easily fit a tall person in, with added room.
The chiller is very quiet when cooling and keeps the water fresh, the filter really does come in handy!
For the last month I have had nothing but positive experiences and I wish I invested sooner!!
Any one thinking of getting a Lumi pod I highly suggest the Lumi pod Pro & Chiller cube!!

Excellent customer service but very slow delivery
It took about 6 weeks to arrive which was unexpected but we already had the basic model.
After a few weeks of usage I noticed a leak and when I contacted customer services they sent a replacement straight away

I love my new lumi pod pro. Really like the more rigid nature of the barrel and find it much easier to get in and out of. Had the pro max which was great but I find that the lumi pod pro keeps the temperature of the water that little bit cooler. Great investment for my mental and physical health

Great Upgrade
my wife got me a entry version last xmas, used it so much it ended up looking sad, I also made my own chiller to keep up sessions during the warmer months. (i would of bought Lumi's chiller if it was on the market) Anywho, the new pro version with the built in in & out valves and the clip on lid makes the whole expreince just that much better all round. plus it just looks way more slick well done lumi, i dig your products, thank you

After buying, and be very happy with, the basic ice bath, I decided, after a year of embracing the cold plunge, to upgrade to the pro - love it! Quick delivery, easy assembly, looks stylish and love that’s it’s a little bigger so easier to relax in. Good value for money. Highly recommend. Ice baths really have changed my life for the better….if you’re thinking about it, go for it, take the plunge!!

Upgraded to the perfect set up!
Earlier this year I was given a used basic ice bath to get my taste for this amazing lifestyle. I was hooked! Unfortunately the one I was given had been well loved, the inflatable ring at the top always deflated and it was a pain having to put ice in every morning. I upgraded to the Pro Barrel and the Ultra Chiller. Not over stating but I was in love. Been in it every morning set to 6⁰C. Connecting to my phone and setting a schedule to turn it on every morning for a couple of hours to make sure its perfect is easy peasy. I would absolutely recommend Lumi to anyone. Fast next day delivery, easy set up and definitely worth the money over the cheaper models and having to put ice in.

It arrived in good time and it was well packed. Once open it was easy to assemble… comes with a pump which is very good quality and work well.
The bath itself inflated well and the materials of which it’s made from are top quality.
I would highly recommend.
Always keep the lid on when not in use, to help prevent any debris falling in!
We recommend changing the water once per week without any additives.
When you drain the water from your ice bath, to extend the life of your next fill, we recommend washing the inside surfaces with warm soapy water.
Can I use Epsom Salts in my Ice Bath?
Yes, its fine to add Epsom Salt to your ice bath, there are some really good reasons why you would want to!
Espom salts are safe to use, and may have health benefits by supplementing your magnesium levels, but chloride salts (e.g., table salt, road salt) are not safe to use.
Can I add Bromine to the water?
Yes you can!
If you'd like the water to last longer, using Bromine tablets or powder should extend the usable time up to 1 month.
Bromine is more skin-friendly and lasts longer than Chlorine in cold water and you'll need very little to be effective.
Warnings
ALWAYS consult your doctor before using an ice bath if you have any health issues!
DO NOT USE if you are: - pregnant, have heart disease or high blood pressure, have diabetes, complications such as neuropathy or retinal damage, you wear a pacemaker, history of frostbite, have an open wound, had recent surgery, epilepsy or any other health concerns or risks.
Using an ice bath can dramatically decrease your body core temperature. The immersion in cold water constricts blood vessels and slows the flow of blood around the body, which combined with health complications, can cause your blood pressure to rise and give you a higher chance of cardiac arrest or stroke.
Possible side effects:
The most noticeable side effect of an ice bath is feeling intense cold, but other side effects of staying in an ice bath for too long are: - hypothermia, frostbite, tachycardia (fast heart beat), arrhythmias (abnormal heart beat), and anaphylactic shock.
Our recommendation:
Despite the potential side effects and warnings, using an ice bath correctly actually has many health benefits! We will always recommend you begin by spending no more than a few minutes in the ice bath, and slowly working you way up to the recommended time, never push your body beyond its limits.
