Recovery Pod MAX Ice Bath

I have received my ice bath. But having tried to get in touch with Lumi for at least three times- email/ chat box. . As my ufo lid does not inflate, as the value seal has delaminated. All I want is a replacement in mint green.

This is my second ice bath from Lumi. I brought my previous one 4 years ago and used it most days!

The Pro is fantastic, what an upgrade!! The quality for the bath and the lids has improved so much and I love the bigger bath.

Definitely stays colder in between dips, I just add 4 big bags of ice before every ssip and it sits at around 10 degrees.

Pod was easy to assemble. One downside was the pump and adaptor supplied were not any use at all for inflation of the required parts. I have seen others saying the same. Luckily I had a leaf blower with an attachment that done the job.
I'm really enjoying my cold dips. This was definitely a good purchase.

Was looking forward to hopping into an ice bath last week but it has just constantly been leaking.

My original tub perished due to the thermal cover i kept on it. So I bought a new one which is equally as good, but I was disappointed with the pump, it didn't seem to fit so I ended up using the pump from my old one.😔

Bought 2 of these and both have broken after a few months. Never got a replacement for the 1st one and I’m waiting to see what happens with this one.

Ordered the Lumi as i was staying at a friends in Cheshire for 9 days & couldn't find any open swim venues close by. I was immediately disappointed that the colour was significantly paler than advertised & on the box. There is a paler stripe on the box with the Lumi picture, but even that is darker than the actual colour. I'm sure an accurate colour depiction should be possible. Apart from that, its a great piece of kit, easy to set up & take down. Just the right height for me at 5ft to step over the top without struggling & big enough for me to sit cross legged either on the bottom, or semi floating. The inflatable top ring is quite sturdy & can be used to lean on getting in & out. I did use a car pump as the small pump provided would have taken quite a while.

Starting my journey of ice plunges/baths to challenge myself and help with immune system, sleep and mood boosting benefits. It's been great so far. Up to 3 mins in water approx 2-4°c... Bracing!

This is my second Lumi pod I upgraded to the pink one from the black one just because I love the colour I’ve been Coldwater dipping for over six years now but these pods are just awesome

Love my ice bath, gives excellent insulation, nice and sturdy walls … my only issue is the inflatable ring around top doesn’t stay inflated but not worth knocking a star off

Everything has been excellent from the searching on the website, to supportive emails and ultimately an excellent product. I am doing the surfers against sewage "dip a day" and it is going really well 😊

So glad I ‘took the plunge’ and invested in a LUMI pod, having tried it out a few times at a local ‘retreat’ over the past 12 months.

I purchased a Recovery Ultra, the non-slip mat and the robe. Just to make the plunging experience a more comfortable one (also bought a thermometer and a waterproof beanie to help).

Really good experience so far. Set up - even for a simpleton like me - wasn’t too arduous. Enjoying the plunging and the community of plungers ☺️

Next up - learning how to change the water without making a mess! 😋

Surrounded by nature and neither ice

I bought this for my son who runs ultra marathons. He has been absolutely thrilled with the ice bath. Although it is compact there’s plenty of room for him. Even his brother is now getting in it! Definately worth buying.

We have recently got the Recovery Ultra™ Ice Bath, Poncho and bamboo socks and we love them all! The ice bath is a hit with all the family - its amazing to have such an easy to use ice bath at home - its just the right side, so easy to assemble and use. Now there is no excuse for me not using it daily. I have already noticed it is helping with post workout recovery - great products thanks Lumi.

Easy to set up, I had nervous excitement using the Ice bath for the first time, don't get me wrong getting in was cold but once in I focused on anything else and managed to survive

I started with a smaller ice bath before making an upgrade, and this size turned out to be ideal for me. It's been so great that I recently upgraded once more and bought the Cube Chiller. Easy to set up, using it daily. Perfect

I got my Lumi Pod Max for a great price and saw it as a great opportunity to start incorporating ice therapy into my training and general wellness regime. Although delivery took longer than anticipated because of the special offer and increased uptake by customers the customer service team were very helpful providing updates along the way.
When it arrived it was easy to set up and get ready. I did place a query with customer support as the downloadable (via QR code) instructions started there should be a hand pump and valve tap included. I was able to erect the pod in the meantime however customer support informed me these were no longer supplied with the pod. I'd suggest this is updated to provide clarity.
I'm being picky though. The pod is great and the breathing guidance downloads from Lumi are helpful. Water stays really cold and using bromine tablets and a dispenser (bought separately) are keeping water clean. The lid is nice and snug and it all seems very well constructed.
Overall I'm really pleased and I'm doing 3-4 sessions per week and definitely feeling the benefits.
