Yes, the LUMI Sauna MAX™ includes a remote control that lets you adjust the heat level from 1 to 9, as well as set a timer for your session.
While it doesn’t display the exact temperature, the remote gives you full control over the steam intensity and session duration to suit your comfort level.
Can the steam cause burns?
The steam is safely delivered from the external steamer unit through a pipe into the internal steam box inside the sauna tent.
As with any steam system, it's important to avoid direct contact with the internal steam box during operation, as it becomes hot and may cause burns.
Always follow the setup instructions, keep clear of the steam outlet during use, and allow the sauna to cool fully before handling or packing away.
How long should I stay in the sauna?
We recommend starting with 10–20 minute sessions at a lower temperature and gradually increasing as your body adapts.
Always listen to your body, avoid overheating, and drink plenty of water before and after your session.
How often can I use the sauna?
For general wellness, 3–4 times a week is ideal. Many users enjoy daily sessions, especially for recovery or relaxation.
Just ensure your body is responding well, and stay hydrated to get the most from your steam therapy.
Does the sauna require any maintenance?
The LUMI Sauna MAX™ is low maintenance, but like any steam sauna, it naturally builds up moisture during use.
We recommend wiping down the interior after each session and allowing the sauna to fully dry with the door open before packing it away.
Some condensation may collect in the base, so we advise placing the sauna on a hard, waterproof surface — not directly on carpet or soft flooring — to avoid damp build-up underneath.
Avoid using chemical cleaners; a soft cloth and warm water are all you need to keep it fresh.
Can I install and use the sauna outside?
No — the LUMI Sauna MAX™ is designed specifically for indoor use.
It should be placed on a clean, dry surface in a well-ventilated indoor space away from direct sunlight and weather exposure.
